With only about 250 miles on the build I drove from northwest Montana to Denver, then to Phoenix, wheeled all over northern Arizona and into Utah, then back to northwest Montana. It was pretty stressful leaving with so few miles on the truck to a 2,500 mile off-road trip but everything went great. The only issue I had was my rear R&P went out on the way to Denver. That was the only thing I paid someone to do on my truck because I wanted to make sure it was done right. The local dealer installed the gears for me, when I got to Denver I called and said they were going out (they were supposed to have a 12 month 12,000mi warranty) and they insisted that I had to take it back to them to have the repair done. How the hell was I supposed to take it back to them when I’m halfway across the country and they are bad?! After several nasty phone calls and emails I just paid out of pocket to have it fixed in Denver and it’s been good since. Finally the dealer refunded me the install cost I paid them but that only covered 1/2 of the repair cost so I essentially paid it twice. Sucks. I’ll never have that dealer do any work for me again, this isn’t the first time they screwed me. I need to paint it and put hydro assist on and I’ll be finished for now. And sliders.

I’ve installed PSC hydro assist and coated it with monstaliner “light quartz grey”, it’s been working great and looks a lot better too. Headed to Moab in a month for 10days as long as everything is still open.
