Get a hitch and a front recovery point. The factory transport loop on the drivers side does not count and the bracket on the passenger is not meant for that.

You can get longer bolts and run a conventional tow hook that 10 dollars if you remove the passenger bracket

I was closed to man, I've never seen anything this bad in life. Toyota is ruining the TRD name. After this my truck having only 300 miles started wobbling when i go over 45 mph. Driving over 45 mph was one of the most dangerous tasks ive ever done. The dealer just washed the under carriage and say mud was stuck in your shocks or something along those lines.

1 - the fuck were you doing in there?

2 - 4x2 is more than enough for 99% of people unless you're doing some serious wheeling where you'd need skids/sliders or in mud

3 - seriously what were you doing with your truck there lol

Would rubbing occur? I kinda dont like the skinny tire look, but if its worth it in order to keep the stock height, ill consider it.

Trying to go through a short cut, but that backfired quick. Became a huge laughing stock.

This may be dumb but would trimming be by any chance voiding the warranty of the truck?

I have a question, my Off Road comes with the locking rear diff button, i used it when i was stuck in mud, idk if that was the intentional purpose of it, When would be a good situation to use that function?

Man i just really want to take it on trails, nothing to crazy like when it comes to rock climbing. Something that would prevent me to get stuck.

I don't believe you, Elias = Alias? I wouldn't post that picture with my real name either.

I kid, but you gotta realize...paper plates, 2wd "off-road" taco, buried axle deep 2mm from a curb. Its just amazing.

That doesnt look that bad, what were some of the extremes these tires have handled?

Being a fellow 2wd OR owner, tires, traction boards, and tow straps are your best friends. Also like everybody else said go with a buddy, preferably someone with 4wd. I mostly go with my buddy with a jeep that has 35 Mud tires so he can pull me out. Also it helps if you have a winch, but it isn't necessary if you have somebody with you. Make sure you choose your lines carefully too.

Lastly avoid any puddles where you aren't sure of the depth, and stay away from sand unless you're going fast!
