So last summer my 4x4 actuators went, took it to Shore Toyota (NJ) and had both the front and transfer case actuators (the transfer case actuator was the issue, but a buddy in the parts departments got me a discount on the diff actuator). All in all a 2100$ repair. Fast forward 28 days and 2300 miles out of the warranty on the parts, I had a hell of a time getting the truck out of 4 hi coming off the beach. Truck is definitely in 2, but the 4x4 light is flashing. Just dropped it off at the stealership again for a “free diagnosis”. Anyone else deal with a similar scenario? Am I SOL?
