4x4 issue

    99 TRD
    I have a '99 TRD and when I put it in 4wd it doesn't go in and the light stopped coming on. When I go to 4 low it does go into low range though? Not understanding this at all. Thank you for any help.

    Goes into 4Lo but is it in 4wd?

    It's in low range but the front wheels are not pulling and the light is not on. Don't know???

    Electrical? You may well have something there, the pu used to have lights on it for a volunteer fire set up. Thank you both, I'll check, also my tail lights went out, thanks. Charlie
