4x4 lettering missing?

Duhhh. Everyone that sees my truck needs to know its a 4x4 and ain't nothing to be fucked with! I want one on all sides, even the top in case someone sees it from the top and thinks it some little bitch 2x4...

But no... It's more of a personal preference. I want to remove the side TRD 4x4 stickers. I also have an Overland Bound badge I want to put where the V6 badge was, so I want something on the left side to even it out. I really want the black 4x4 badging that comes on the Pros.

 

My favorite part is the shitty die-cut dealer sticker - the one with 73 tiny-ass individual stickers that reads "Blah Blah Blah Toyota of Blah Blah. TAKE THAT SHIT OFF or I ain't driving it home.

 

Not a Tacoma but I've seen trucks with the 4X4.

When I bought my Truck I had the Salesperson put on the sale sheet. No Dealer Advertising.

Hmm, a disturbance in the Matrix. My 2017 OR did NOT come with the 4x4 chromium badgery. Baja rig.

 

That's a nice looking access cab there. See about getting sr bumper caps, will look good against QS

 

Easy- popped off the caps and derped them in 1 day.

Didn't read this thread, but there is good info in it.

I googled "Tacoma bumper cap removal" and found a video by member @Rob Daman - really good- if you have the back up sensors, then maybe more difficult.

As I have read, removing the caps is way more difficult than re-installing.

I did recently buy a set of trim removal tools from Amazon that made this job (and a few others ) easier

I didn't even take mine off. Just liberally applied painters tape.

 

I sprayed all around the inside edges of the caps also, like I did when I derped my grill bezel and logo.

Plus, I like taking stuff apart, lol.
