    they do
they say if you don't it can cause the front diff parts to not remain lubricated and then seize. Its really just their way to protect themselves from warranting it.

If you don't do it they'll say you didn't follow manufacturer recommendations.
If you do, do it they'll say you did it on paved roads and thats what caused it lol.

I haven't had any significant issues with mine, just once so far I was in a spot I needed 4x4 and it wouldn't engage. problem was I was trying to turn around on a trail still in 2wd and when I got stuck it was rear wheels stuck. couldn't get traction to move back. but had no more space (sort of) to go forward. Tried to get into 4x4 but it wouldn't engage. So I ended up just not caring lol. The portion of trail ahead was just fallen trees, had I not had so much armour I'd be worried about damage but what do I care. I heard it hit my skids but whatever.

Yep. That's in the manual. Not many places to drive straight ahead for even a few miles. So, I pop it in when I can. A couple miles each week.

I have mile marker hubs on my f350 and the are the greatest thing next to sliced bread. I also have a lever for the transfer which works great.
