So life got a little busy so we had to take a little break from the truck but back at it today. Made some progress under the hood with sorting out and routing the new wiring harness for the holley efi and have mounted the new ecu. Got the intake mostly assembled and just about ready to bolt on for good.20170429_191734.jpg

Originally we were going to go with a Fitech fuel injection system which would not allow a racrpak style dash system. Now that we have switched to holley efi, i am ordering their dash system which plugs straight in and is a much simpler system than the autometer gauges i have.Screenshot_20170429-194621.jpg
So if anyone is interested in my autometer gauges they are for sale. I will post a thread in for sale section 20170304_152935.jpg

Intake is torqued down now. Received the wrong spark plug wires so just need the correct ones and a few small wiring things and she will be running

Definitely sub'd to see this thing run. A friend recently finished swapping an LS1 into his '71 Datsun prerunner and now I'm really anxious to see LS'd Tacoma's.

Very well actually. The fuel injection runs off its own wiring system with its own ecu which is mounted under the glove box. We tore down the original wiring harness so all thats left on the original ecu is the front diff and a/c compressor. Had to run some new wiring for all the fans in the back, the new fuel pump, and fuel sender unit. Everything still works. Hopefully will be firing it up this weekend.

so essentially i could just get a separate harness and ditch the stock? if i do ls then by that point ill do a fiberwerx dash and do new everything.
