Hey guys just signed up! I have a 2009 4x4 and I currently have a king mid travel set up with total chaos upper control arms. I am going to keep it mid travel insteaof going full long travel because of costs and I just love how it drives on the street. But as this thing is a beast already, id like to keep up with my long travel buddies a little better. I was thinking about running the total chaos stock length lowers to add onto what I have, amd adding another shock and bumps. I was wondering if anyone has run this or has seen someone run this and can attest to the performance of this set up compared to a single shock mid set up. Thanks!

Bump. You can squeeze air bumps AND dual shocks under the front with the TC Race lowers correct?

Mine is in work right now! Not really sure if I could squeeze air bumps in there. Using wheeler super bumps for now.

Its a big step up from the stock bumps. Really made a huge difference when I first put them in. I think they may not be as effective with the bypass getting installed now though....but i'm ok with that ;)

^ You'll love the performance of the added addition. I was able to take the truck out and test it. You'll have plenty of fun for sure but you will not be able to keep up with LT trucks. My rear end is what holds me back for sure as it bucks. The front is super plush and nice. I can average around 35mph on certain areas but forget the big stuff at that speed.

I was in your boat and I'm more than happy with this set up. However I'm running a slightly different set up at a different setting.

Airdog. . How are you able to add that bypass without cutting the oem bumps? I hate to trim it out and add the TC piece.

Okay similar to what I'm runnin. Im about to get some fox bumps put on though. What are the advantages of a spring under kit?

Much more up travel for da woops!
My plan is the DMZ spring under kit with 16 inch King bypasses. Seems to be the best option out there these days.

Nice are you doing this all without fender flares?

Stocks Fender flares are all still on right now. Though I did just plastic weld some of the clips on my front flares after popping them in Superstition last weekend. Looks like I may buy some front glass soon if the stock flares don't hold together with the repair I just did.
