Hey guys, my 06 tacoma red will not engage 4x4. I twist the dial and the green light flashes. However when I put it back to h2 the light keeps flashing. I was able to get it in 4x4 yesterday by spinning. However now I cannot get it to go in what's so ever. Is there a possibility that it's frozen since it did work twice yesterday.

Thanks for the suggestion. I forgot to add that I have tried everything from backing up. To driving 10 miles with h4 and taking sharp turns to see if it would go in. Nothing seems to work, yesterday when it went in for some reason the green flashing light was off when in h2. If that has anything to do with it.

I did drive though a snow drift the other day and it has stayed pretty frozen. Does anyone have any suggestions or recomended threads/videos on how to remove the 4x4 acuator?
