My 4x4 both high and low won't lock in there's a clicking sound ever time I try to put it in 4x4 by the passenger side floor panel. the light on the dash don't come on either but it showed up when I put it in one time and won't come back on and the rear diff lock won't lock in either it only does when I put it in 4low and drive back and forth

So when you move the truck a bit it engages? As far as I knowthats normal, when I put my '04 into 4wd I have to roll forward a bit for it to engage, the light comes on and all is well

If I'm reading right, he has to move back and fourth for the locker to engage, not the 4WD.
