Bought a used steering knuckle from Mid Atlantic salvage. Told him my truck has a non ABS non automatic differential and manual hubs. After 2 weeks and no return Email they finally shipped it once I opened a paypal claim. What I received I think is an automatic hub. There are splines cut inside the bore where mine has needle bearings.

My question is can I press my hub into the knuckle or are they non compatible?

if the knuckle is in good shape and not bent out of shape somewhere yes you can press in your hubs but best to replace the bearing.

If they sent you an ADD knuckle instead of the manual knuckle than yes, they sent you the wrong part. Pics would help to confirm.

That’s an ADD hub. You can’t use it unless you want to press it out and replace it with a manual hub bearing.

That was my thought as well. I do have good news that was able to finally get the broken bolt out so can get back on the road soon. Finding their phones are now disconnected. Guess is time to sic paypal back onto them as they don't respond to Emails either. To all don't do business with Mid Atlantic salvage even though I found them on the site here.

Should be an area for reviews, if they don't have one put one up.

I did a search but all am coming up with is in posts. I know I saw it on here but am not finding it yet. They need a black eye for how they do business IMO.
