Seriously??? I can't have some extra gay push button crap. I want a truck, not a metrosexual dud truck.

I know what you are talking about. Had that on my Hilux while I was in the PI... But nope, Our trucks have a switch dial, no stick, no push button. switch from 2WD to 4WD Hi - 4WD Lo. Actually saves lots of console space if you aint using it all the time...

Dudes, that really sucks. I like to have full control of the vehicle when in 4x4 or otherwise. Anyone have just the manual with the 4x4 dial thing. Could you post a pic of the interior. I have a 02 and love it, but I am not sure I will purchase another Taco unless they get their shit together with smaller truck designs and the 4x4.

You could sneak a Hilux in or just swap it yourself. You could also re-engineer the whole transfer case/4WD system. Or stick with the 1st gen or live with 2nd gen.

    Not all,

The Hilux I drove down range was left side steering wheel. That truck was the reason I could not wait to get home and drive my newly purchased Taco.

Yeah the Hilux was sweet, but it aint no Tacoma:D
