    Are there any in the vicinity? I moved from Colorado where if you drove to mtns you would run into one by just turning?

    Plenty, I used to live in Lago Vista and pretty much it's like ya said. Go a lil further out in the country and turn. Plenty of old quarrys and lakeside trails to be taken advantage of. If I still lived in the area I would be more than obliged to hit some trails wit ya. Unfortunately I live in the northeast, eventually though. Where u located in austin?
