4x4 vs 4x2

i figured everyone would just get the impression its easier to ask a question than to put a little effort to find themselves. but i guess if youre not a lazy ass like me, you can find the info for them and help em out.

 

I have a 2x4 or a 4x4, depending on which kind of broad I'm talking to at the bar. Or how drunk I am.

 

It's a fine balance. Don't think that I want everyone to just post up every question they have without looking at all. But it's just rude to jump on folks and post "SEARCH" (I used to do this but have since realized it's not really helpful for anyone) without helping them at all.

 

So how much lift do I need to clear 37s?

 

I've been on forums where that has been the policy. I hated it. You wind up posting a bunch of crap just so you can ask a question. I don't think it would fix the problem either.

I would like to have a 4x4 but It became a 4x2 because the extra $$ was a little too much when I purchased my Taco. I just want to see the opinion the other Tacoma owners have and feel better if more people have the 4x2 option.

I have been in 2WD Toyotas since 1984 ...... three winters in Saratoga County, NY w/o getting stuck once.

Now, I owe that to me being such a good driver ...... .... but more so not being stupid.

I can on mine. Just select the Mobile Skin. There's a useable search.

 

It's not a big deal. Try a "Titles Only" search for "4x4 4x2"

I find that "Titles Only" searches are most helpful. There's a pretty good chance the title reflects what you're seeking. They don't help when titles are something like "Please help..." but 9 times out of 10, they'll get you what you're interested in without having to search through a bunch of unrelated posts.
