Glad to have you aboard, my friend. My stepson works for the Cornelius, NC FD (Ladder4) and I appreciate any and all who give their time and effort to serving others in the manner in which you do. I'm a 'newbie' as far as 'Comas but the members here make you feel right at home ... no matter where you are located. Taco's, 'Comas or Yota's ... it's all good!

I just realized I never updated this...

Moved to Orlando since I posted my first post...new job...new girl...new ride...

tcBob was also nice enough to change my username to Fink instead of 4x4Fink. Everybody has called me Fink my whole life and since I drive a PreRunner now...why not? That's how I'm labeled on just about every other forum I frequent.

Anyway, figured I'd update this with the new name...

    WELCOME!

You personal vehicle ID info sig. says it is a 2011 Off Road TRD 'Prerunner', but your photos show 4x4 mudflaps?? Your photo also shows a SPORT TRD...??

A Prerunner is 2WD... Hope you have a 4x4 so you can have off road fun and enjoy the traction...

The pics at the beginning of the thread were from 2009 when I had my 2007 Sport 4x4. Sold that in August of 2010 for a 2010 Nissan Xterra - biggest mistake of my life. I then traded that in for my current Yota a month ago.

    It's my 5th Toyota...never again will I stray away from Toyota's.

Thanks for the 'rest of the story'! I know someone with an Xterra, and really loves it. What was the issue with it, for you?

(I also think I am now a Toyota 'lifer')

The fit and finish was crap - rattled from day one, body panels squeaked, etc...

Just didn't appear to be of the same quality as Toyota.

Ah, 10-4 that! I guess if one didn't have a Toyota before getting a Nissan, he might think those rattles and squeeks were 'normal' for a 4WD??

Viva Toyota... built in Baja for driving in Baja!
