Looking at buying some engine and tranny mounts and I came across some badass ones for sale as a group buy in the parts for sale section. It’s $650 for the set, which is a lot more than going with other options. Is there a major difference between these kinds of parts? Solid mounts is definitely what I’m planning to go with. No oem rubber stuff. Of course they all have polyurethane bushings but that’ll outlast me.

You won't be able to use the lower priced trail gear bomb proof motor mounts unless you get newer stamped steel engine brackets - you could buy the 4x innovations solid tranny mount which I actually have one for sale since I just picked up a bonzen tranny mount used.

Pre-99 trucks had the cast engine brackets that won't work with the bomb proof motor mounts - found out the hard - ish way lol

You gotta think of a build name, name you truck, make an ig for it, print stickers of your ig on them, then slap it on your truck for everyone to follow you lol jk

Yep. Got the first set in the group buy. Went down to Ryan's house to drop off my mangled brackets and he breathed new life into them. Very good fabber.

Nice, well I should probably just do it right then lol I mean I’m not going to be jumping it or anything. So it kinda seems like overkill

It's your only option besides buying new engine brackets like I showed up above and then using the trail gear ones unless you just want oem cushions. I like his motor mount design. The tranny mount is similar enough to the 4x innovations that I don't really see a huge advantage over it. I got mine used for $100 though.

Haul shit, crawl shit, camp in sick places, drive real fast over washboard ;)
Although while I’ve been deciding on ADS suspension, I was feeling real tempted to go LT but that’s just kinda out of my already overbudget expenses. I mean the actual suspension isn’t soooo bad but the upkeep and the wear on everything else kinda is what kills it.
