I stand corrected. Everyone I've seen has been an Auto.

I just hate Chrysler with a living passion. I will NEVER buy a new Jeep, Dodge, or Chrysler

No. I'm not a Toyota kiss-butt fan. I really like the Chevy and Ford trucks. Just the Chrysler design and trucks are complete crap. They're all plastic on the inside and you can hear everything rattle around when your driving.

Again I'm not a suck up. There's alot of trucks I would rather have than my truck.

You should roam around this site more before you put up posts like that Mr. 13 posts. ;)

Fuck that, pay off the Taco then buy a new 5.0

That is literally my plan if the 5.0s prove decently reliable and relatively sprightly (sub 6.0 real world 0-60 with minimal mods or bust, Ford).

Looks are subjective as far as the Camaro looking better. Personally, I think they look like ass, and they're a big car when you see them in person. As far as engine size, the Camaro is a 6.2L not a 6.0. And the Camaro won't be faster anymore. Mustang was only a few tenths behind as is with only 315hp. Now with 412 hp, the Mustang will more than make up the 14hp disadvantage by the fact they they weigh a few hundred pounds less.

As far as the Challenger, I LOVE the exterior styling. Best looking of the 3 retro styled cars IMO. But they weigh too much and are overpriced being 10k more than the Mustang GT and Camaro SS are with no added performance. My money would be on the Mustang if I were in the market for this type of car.

As far as 0-60, Ford should just quit if people can't pull sub 6 sec 0-60 times, especially seeing as the current 315hp car was MORE than capable of that. I wouldn't be surprised to see the new V6 Stangs dip below 6 secs with the new 305hp 3.7L.

    :amen: Mustang FTW!
I love the look of the new challengers, but the fact that its a Chrysler kind of makes me shy away.

Lighter weight, 11:1 compression, and ~6500 redline isn't a good reason?

they really set the car up so it won't respond to consumer modifications.. factory equal length shorty headers, CAI, 11:1 compression, etc. the pistons they offer IMO wouldn't stand up to even a 100 shot for very long (also because of the compression).. looking from a consumer standpoint I would rather have forged aluminum pistons and sacrifice some compression to be able to do more mods myself-looking back that's what the majority of Mustang owners buy mustangs for=making power and modding them..

I agree with you& would add that it's more cost effective for Ford and the final price tag for the consumer, but if you were to slap a power adder on it I would deffinately swap out pistons.

I'm sure Ford will take this motor change it up to accomodate a blower anyway..

He went 11.58 @ 120 mph in the 1/4 mile with a 1.83 60 ft. This is a full interior notch back, with a stock K member up front and MT drag radials..Normally Aspirated, no NOS, SUPERCHARGER, TURBO, SO yeah it makes some POWER!!! Oh I know because I bought all the goodies for it!!!

I agree 100%. This new 5.0 is going to be a N/A beast in the '11 Stang and should put a hurting on the Camaro SS. I'm predicting the GT/6 speed manual will run 12.8 @ 112 w/o too much of a problem. I wouldn't trade my Mach 1 for one of these, but I sure wish I could talk my wife into letting me have 2 Mustangs!! :D

Inside Line just dynoed the '11 GT 5.0. It put down a whopping 395 RWHP & 365 RWTQ!!! This thing is a beast if the correction factor isn't too high! :D I can't wait to see some 1/4 mile times!
