Hello, I just tried to put on a 285/70-R17 wheel and tire, its a factory new forerunner 7" wheel so it fit really well except for the top of the tire being a finger tip away from the upper control arm. I order a set of 5/16" spacers, will I need new lugs to account for the loss in threads? I will post a pic when we get the wheels on.
    Thank you

5/16" spacers? Is it a slip on spacer, if it is, i would not recommend. I can safely assume the 4R use the mag lugs, which I doubt someone make extended mag nut. I can be wrong.

I'd advise against using those kinds of spacers. You want the kind the bolt onto your lugs and have lugs pressed into them. I believe the thinnest of those version are about 3/4". If you're dead set on using the ones you already ordered, then yes, new longer lug studs is a must. But again those are very unsafe. 1103211244_HDR.jpg
