You won't get the true 5" of drop without notching 4" blocks take you to the lo pro bump stops already any more block or other kine of drop method won't do anything but make the shock plate closer to the ground because the axle can't go anything further. So if you not notchin putting anything more than 4" blocks won't drop you anymore

Well if you have 2" then possibly can but that mean you running small blocks right now and not the 4" any more with no bumpstops I ran 2" blocks with 4x4 leafs I took out my spare tire and subs to lighten it at recon and put drop shocks and passed I had prolly an inch or lil over of space but he didn't actually measure but the shocks kept me from bottoming out at the test. Most people go recon before notching so they don't gotta worry bout it
It is possible to run 5" blocks doe with no notch and bumpstops it will ride really rough nothing should really break but definitely won't pass recon with 5" blocks even if you had air shocks the shock plate will be too close to the ground for them to pass you

I gotta get this whole notching in check because 4 wheel parts told me the inspectors are real dumb lol they randomly pass people here and there and shit lol and also said some mini c notch pass i also asked if they needed to be welded he said not really as long as it was from a kit and if meant to be bolted on then can jus be bolt on and it should be really solid too.
