I think it cost me $0.18 for the washers, but it's all sealed up now.

    Thank you.
I got it and it looks good. FM reception works fine. XM is does not work so well. But it looks good and I rarely use XM/FM. I stream music from Amazon prime.

Edited 9/5/2015: XM works fine. Maybe it was the bad reception because I was inside my garage while I tested yesterday.

XM isn't received by the antenna by the way.....

On my 2015 at least there's a Shark Fin antenna on the roof for satellite radio.

Doesn't the XM/Sirius go through the Shark Fin

Hmmm. I need an aftermarket antenna. My factory one is about 3" too tall for the shelving in my garage. As I pull in each day all I hear is, "Thwack! Thwack! Thwack!" Just waiting for it to bust off some day. Radio reception here isn't that great to begin with so I'm a bit hesitant.

I am not so sure, but XM is cutting off every few seconds after I installed the after market antenna. Could be the service at the moment. Will try again tomorrow.

Anyway, I think the truck looks better with shorter antenna. Worth 13 bucks.

Good to see this thread. Lost my antenna in a car wash last month.

Mine sits flush. But i do remember it took me a bit to get it flush. I can't remember exactly what I did (but I didn't use washers or additional pieces). I'm wondering if I unscrewed/removed something else that was originally there on the truck (in addition to the stock antenna) and then used one of the included adapters. If you can't get it, let me know, and I'll take mine apart tomorrow and see how I did it.
