This is kind of why I left the stock exhaust alone for the most part on my 06 and just had a 24" glasspack welding in place of the muffler... There's nothing wrong with the stock exhaust's tip size or exit location, and personally I'm trying to get rid of the chrome on the truck anyway (only thing left is the rear bumper). The muffler gave it plenty of grunt to be noticed, but it's not unbearably loud and annoying when accelerating or at highway speed. It CAN get loud if you hammer on it though.

I'll straight up tell you my opinion and I'll be blunt about it; I don't like it... Looks about as gaudy as chrome truck nuts... Personally, I don't like the huge tips on big diesels either. But, to each their own. That's what makes cars and trucks as a hobby so interesting; the verity of interests and opinions that make every enthusiast's vehicle different.

If you watch the videos BlueTaco posted i believe on page 1 you would see it is a True dual exhaust setup. The right bank of the exhaust does not meet up with the left bank at all no Y pipe,X or H pipe.

I voted yes because I bet it sounds awesome. I would have to see them in person though to really decide.

Okay I'm sorry I have to clarify... I stated I put a 24" glasspack on mine. That was my last truck, not my Tacoma. My Taco has a CherryBomb Extreme on it. Everything else is bone stock though...
