5 Lug, 6 Lug? Does it matter?

Ok guys, first off, I'm not an idiot , I know what it means, but I just don't really know why it matters? I have a 4 cylinder, 4x4 truck, with 6 lug tires, why do people talk about the 5 or 6 lug option so much?

 

The 5 and 6 lug suspensions are totally different. 6 luggers are 4x4 (except for Prerunners), and sit much higher.

 

Ohhhhhh, so basically saying I got a 6 lugger, implies that its 4x4, and sits higher......gotchaaaa!

 

theres 6 lugger 2 wheel drives also, but it has the susension of a 4x4

 

There is a better selection of after-market wheels for the 6 lug.

 

6 Lug Have more toys to by specially when lifting but us 5 Lug have very few option to lift and other mods for Our trucks. An is very important for people with 5 Lug to make sure that the part's they are buing fits.
