What shocks are those? Looks like the bushings were incorrect.. Is there a metal sleeve to take up the gap between the bolt and the bushing?

The broken leaf is on the raised side or the sagging side?

Can you post pictures of both sides of the rear suspension? (Leaf springs, shackles, upper and lower shocks mounts)?

    Where's your approximate location?

You dont necessarily have to find a whole spring pack. You could take the middle one out (from the good side) call around for any spring shops (usually for trucks) and see if they can make a pair that are similarly arched, width, length, and strength as the leaf you pulled out. This will give both of your packs equal strength instead of only replacing the individual spring.

Is your main spring on both sides still good? what I did when I neded to replace my springs was get a set of used springs from a 2010 and rebuilt them from that. Main spring from my 97 everything ells from the new leaf pack. Also did spring over axle at the same time.

That's what we're all here for. Help each other out when they need a hand or just hang out and have a good ol time.

Best of luck with the repairs, sir. Keep us updated.

New problem. Lower ball joints are both torn. Less than 2k miles and the inside of boot on both has rips and now pops when reversing and turning hard

Hey do you think those qa1's could be used with a stock lower control arm? Did some measurements and not sure if it would fit with a 9" coil

The stock lower arms dont have the correct mounting to use the coilovers. You may be able to fit it if you used one of the eye hole through bolts like the stock mounting points. Would be all the front end weight sitting on two small bolts though.

Yeah I've looked into that and I found some bar pin eliminators from jeeps that looks like it could work if i reinforced the lower a bit where the coil would sit. just not sure if there's enough room for a coilover in there

Wouldnt hurt to go check the extended and compressed lengths of the coilover. Would wanna cycle the stock arms to see how far it'll droop and fully compress.

Might be a different distance between the frame and the mounting point of the shock or coilover.
