I like the 4 port design much better. Performance wise I haven't heard any difference between the 2.

On another note truck should hopefully be running tomorrow. Almost got going today, but heater hoses and all the emission crap slowed me down. I'm going to fill my coolant up with distilled water first drain and do a refill of coolant after.

Back together and running today! Had a few bugs. At first fire up I had a heater hose start leaking on me. Then had a misfire on cyl 3. I bent the spark plug electrode all the way in. Must of dropped it. Changed out the plug. Threw a MAF sensor code. Left that unpluged when I took out the spark plug. Now it purrs. Drove it around the neighborhood for 20 minutes. All but one sensor checked in. Should be ready for smog tomorrow once I weld in my new cat.

Why would you have your resivor there where it can just get hotter from the engine??

I've been scratching my head on those resi's the last year. They came like that because JD fab did their kit like that. When I bought the truck they were both on that engine brace. For the last 4 years I've been like if it ain't broke don't fix it. The shocks do get pretty warm when I drive off road hard, but they are 10" shocks. You can still touch them after I off road hard and they have yet to fade for me. My rear shocks still get hotter than my fronts. My front end tends to skip over everything while the rear takes up most of the work. What is bugging me now is that the resi's are not symmetric anymore. I relocated the passenger to the wheel well with the turbo. It looks like I can relocated them to the shock hoops in my wheel wells with some cutting and grinding. I have have front suspension love coming my way soon hopefully.

Great work getting the truck ready. Maybe I will bring mine to Super instead of the 4-Runner since it will be done. Single cabs FTW!!

I've been eying the weather for superstition. It's not looking too dry out there. Worst case I'll do a Saturday day trip since my camping gear isn't water resistant.

Really? I was already planning for a day trip anyway. A family event came up for Sunday that I can't miss.

It all looks so boring up there now though.... ;)

Running well and strong is a very good sign though. Get that inspection done and back to boost! Makes me want to fix the head gasket on my truck.....

How so, "barely". What does that mean exactly, in your case?

Max allowable NO is 552ppm. I blew 552. Whatever I'm good for 2 years. Kinda curious if my o2 sensor is dying out. Truck feel kinda sluggish with the throttle. Maybe mine is dying out more lean. If my truck was 1 year newer it doesn't need the emission testing up the tail pipe. Oh well. Let the mods carry on once I break in the top end

Exactly. I'll worry about that headache in 2 years or maybe it will be a trailer queen.

You tested with you turbo off? I have to do mine this month and am worried to. I have bigger injectors, 3.4, and the fic. Gio gave me some tips. Said put a gallon of denatured alcohol in 1/2 full tank and disconnect the charge pipes. Any word for me besides good luck? Haha

I'm California man. I gotta go full blown oem stock or I need a carb # for each aftermarket part. That why all my stuff is pnp. I take it all out too so they don't even bat an eye. It's rough, but I made it all so it's a quick install. I'm going to make a few small changes, but turbo can go back in and running in one weekend.

Oh shit. You're sucking even more in CA. I should be ok. If not I'll deal with it then. Thx bro.

Finally boosted again. That was too long. Already hit a trail with it. Just need to fix a few small bugs next weekend. Power feels great with the rebuilt head
