I'll have to pm you on that later tonight. Got a few things that would be an issue like how it mates and my speed sensor. I actually know nothing about a trans swap. I've only changed a clutch.

None of the other toyota's even tried that hill. Except one guy, but he was stock 2wd. The 4x4 guys were chicken that a rocks were going to hit their truck. They saw the part were it bucked me pretty down to almost a stop.

That meet was funny. I only knew about 2 people. Some of them didn't know what a turbo was and why my truck went fast. I kinda like that because it suppose to be a bit under the radar to the untrained eye. I think I need to pull the cat. I do like that it cuts down the smell for stuff like this, but it is getting restrictive. Hi flows still smell like fuel.

Most turbo tacos are sleepers because most aren't boosted via turbo. And I think most untrained people won't know shit. I'm pretty sure when I drive on the roads most soccer moms and Johnny business dad hears my exhaust rumble, the turbo flutter, and the bov and thinks, "that truck must be busted up or just got a flat tire." Their like, "most cars don't make that noise, what's going on?"

Gotz me a bit of updates. Cough 180ft of DOM Cough. Started stripping the cab down. Roof liner is out, side panels, and rear panel. Leaving the truck together for this month and May will be when I pull the dash. Also made a dirt plate for my floor jack and going to mount it between the 2 spares. You can still roll it on flat concrete. Also added another spin tighter to the wastegate tension. It still fully opens. I need to do some more wot pulls, but think my injectors are tapped. I have a camping trip in a few weeks, so I hate to start tuning larger injectors.

Damn. Getting all tube caged up in here! So you have a pipe bender already? If so, which brand?

What size ccm injector are you currently running?

Yeah I gotta jd squared bender with a harbor freight air over hydraulic ram. I'll show you pics of my setup when it's not in the back of the garage. It's crazy how much of my cab is falling apart. The cage will be good to get all the weight off my cab.

Actually added about one more psi of preload to my wastegate and my turbo started pissing oil again. I think a single 3/8" hose is not enough to vent all the blow by. So I need to run another line out the valve cover which is easy.. Also one of my intercooler couplers keeps blowing off. Maybe one size smaller coupler that connects to the intercooler. The eBay intercooler is more a 2.25" instead of 2.5". Still running pinks which is about 315-330cc once I get to my thing I'll work on my motor.

Are you running a pcv valve?

Kinda no. It's capped off. I have a vent on my valve cover that I vent out. I'm going to pull the pcv valve and run an inline fitting with another hose out. So eventually I'll need to run a dual catch can or just do a massive fitting out my valve cover like an10 or 12. Right now I don't let the case have any positive pressure. It just doesn't flow enough for the higher boost.

Old pic but the line on my cover you see is vented

Yeah, on my 3.4 I just put a brass 90° coming out of the valve cover instead of the pcv. Runs to catch can then back to intake portion of the manifold. Since deleting the pcv seems to vent MUCH better. I think I was getting a lot of build up around the valves and they were leaking oil, even though I just changed the seals

    Dual -8's here. ;)

What kind of hose clamps do you have T-bolt or worm gear?

I'm t-bolts all around. The intercooler inlet and outlets are more like 2.25" flanges than the advertised 2.5" so I crank them down. I might just get 2.25" elbow couplers and stretch them out a bit. The t bolt could probably use a new nylon lock nut. Looks like I get to be part of the dual breather line club too with half the power  This turbo has been a snowball to an avalanche of needing to beef up the whole truck. Man it is fun and scary to drive dough.

Best descritpion of power right there. When I turned the boost up to 15 psi, my knees would shake. People would ask me when I would let them drive. First off, never. Secondly, even hypothetically, if it scared me how could they even think I'd let them behind the wheel??? Lol. Nope.
