Glad to know you've got enough love this thing enough to keep it moving :bikewhoops:

How do you like that 50t pack you've been running? Can it be tuned well with your shocks? A used one came up and I'm not sure if I want to get my F55's rearched and add a leaf to them, go with the 50t, or sink some money into a new custom pack from deaver.

The 50t likes about 300lbs added to the bed to make it easy to tune.

A reworked f55 might be best. It will be a new pack after that. The 50t has about 13" of arch. I think deaver will only touch their products.

Thanks man. I talked to Deaver and they only want $250 to re-arch and add a leaf so I'm thinking that's the way to go since I only have $250 into the springs so far. I usually roll around town with an empty bed besides a single spare. 300-400 is what it will be totally loaded for my longest camping trips with a baby bolt in cage, tools, an additional spare, jack, and camping gear.

250 sounds like a good deal. It took me 2 full spares and a bed cage to tame my pack. Now it rides better than any dmz rear that I have ever been in. If you have a hard time tuning, usually some junk in the trunk is the trick.

Only 1-2" over stock should be good for me - I want to stay low as possible without dragging. Rn I'm fine on most things I do with 31's and stock height on my 2nd gen and I already have 33's on my first gen. I've read that the f series deavers don't give a lot of height - that's why I'm thinking of adding one or two leaves to the pack while they're re arching them. Thoughts? This is also a temporary setup until I get a fabbed housing and the giant 64 kit once I can get a place with room for fab equipment and some experience with mig welding.

That motor is everything I wish I could do to mine. Forward facing intake, aftermarket fuel pressure regulator, and nice catch can.
I was just dreaming up how to mount my new turbo.

I don’t get that mesh on the turbo. Is that the only filter or does it still have a true particulate filter

Only the screen, you see it in street racing. Those guys rebuild their motor pretty often

That's a 1FZ-FE, big ol Land Cruiser motor, can't imagine what spring rate I'd need with that big beast in the taco. My Cruiser rides like a battleship/Cadillac hybrid haha

The Nazi's, I mean Nannies over there ruin all the fun.... :pout: Use an Arizona or Nevada home of record. Then slap those plates on. Problem solved, for maybe two weeks. Lol...until the plate Gestapo comes after you. Lol.

No land cruiser motor for me. Just want the parts on mine to make it look like that while still being my motor.

This what I dream. Then I'm like how to make this for a truck that gets beat up and not a show car.

Half inch stainless flange and schedule 10 stainless pipe. That'll be the toughest, especially with an added support somewhere.
