I like that JD hangers have 2 bends to match the contour of the frame where most other companies are flat.

    Picking up Deavers tomorrow

Got F67, I know they flatten out after awhile but it's a single cab n I'm not going to be hauling any crap, so they should last awhile. And I didnt want a leaf pack that had a lot of arch n give the stink bug look.

I got off at 6am this morning and cleaned the garage to store the truck while I do the back half. Plan is to box the frame this weekend but I got plans with the family Fri Sat Sun so we'll see how this goes.

I pulled the bed off, removed gas tank, leads off. Welded up all the hole in the frame and boxed the frame. My phone's camera sucks so I'll get pictures on my wife's phone when she gets home. (She got a new phone, I rather keep my shitty phone n buy truck parts)

Next will be setting up the new leaf springs and 8.4 rearend.

Also got new steelies for the 8.4 rearend. Will have 2 different lug patterns but the bed cage will be setup to carry 2 spares.

Clean ass work, looks great! love the still functional bed aspect. Are those hoops custom or from a company? and how much "pep" does the 5 lug have now with the 6 lug rear end? 4.10 with locker right?

I want to keep the bed as much as I can, reason for the flush mount spare instead standing up. I have to have 2 spares for the 2 different lug patterns. The 2nd will be angled down past the bed. I made the hoops out of 1 3/4" .120 DOM. They are temporary for now. I put some cheap 14" billstein I've had laying around. When I get 16" bypasses I'll start the cage and cut the hoops off n tie it into the cage.

The 4.10 are a huge difference. I have 5th gear again and easily Cruz around 75mph. I can't believe how much better it is. The only problem I got is there a humming noise when I accelerate. As soon as I let off the throttle it stops. I want to think it's my pinion angle but there's no vibration. The rear end I got 3 years ago from desertjunkie760 that was sitting at jeffz0rz house for who knows how long, so the 3rd might need a rebuild.

The kit was around $2900 after tax, I picked it up from JD so no shipping. The reservoirs are temporary mounted under the hood. The fender wells are out for the shock hoops, that helps pull more air under the hood.

Truck was pulling like crazy, couldn't drive it straight at 55mph n up so it sat in the driveway for a few months. Took it to my guy for alignment, the passenger toe was off by 5° caster n camber were ok so left that alone for now. I can drive it for now but I'll be getting all new 33s this week n another alignment.

This week has been pretty good for the truck. Since I had the tow fixed I been able to drive it to work all week after sitting since I started the rear. This morning she getting new shoes and another alignment full tow, caster, camber adjustment and new Falken AT3. Went with all terrains because it's beginning of summer and the 2 MT on the rear were hella loud in the cab. Once I get the cage going I can get sound deadening laid all thru the cab to try n help with noise.

Shout out to Matt at Canos TNT Tire shop in San Jacinto. Matt has taken care of my family since he started business a couple years ago
