I cranked them up another inch last night and the ucas are sitting on the bump stops now. I am probably going to do the bump stop hack job or pay a fabricator to lower them for me.

The TC cross shafts probably need to be milled down some as well to bring my truck into proper camber alignment.

I am going to try to iron all this out before the end of the month.

I would be satisfied with 6” how tall are you trying to go?

The bump stops limit downtravel either way. I am not quite at the 6 in mark yet. That's where I am trying to get, though.

They are there for a reason. You dont want you down travel to exceed the length of travel in your shock. Or have so much down travel that the coil just comes lose and can move around
If you do cut the mounts off i would find how far is goes down before you run out of shock then limit strap it so you still have a 1/4” of shock left so its not bottoming out

Besides you don’t really need alot of down travel when going fast in the whoops its all about up travel then

I hear ya. I'll probably have the bump stop mounts lowered, and travel checked and all that good stuff from a shop is what I am thinking.

I wanna say I linked PDF installation instructions a few pages back, but the fabtech coil and arm kit had replacement bump stop mounts that had to be welded lower on the frame because of the same issue. I am looking to get some custom work done to do the same thing basically.

You can just lose the bump stops and run limit straps

The next limiting factor is the length of the ucas, so you can only lift so much before they start slamming into the coils at full extension. I guess the optimum spot to mount bump stops is right before that happens as well as the shock requirements you mentioned.

Hey guys, i just got one side done. The real challenge with the Doetsch kit is the springs. what compressor did you guys use? these things just will not go in. the first side, i literally just kicked it in
