I got the ready lift leveling kit for the 5-lug tacoma. Front went on fine, having trouble with the add-a-leaf and wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
Specifically, the nut that goes with the leaf centering pin is of larger diameter than the hole in the plate that the U-bolts attach to. Anyone else have this issue? It is just barely too big, so I imagine I can just bore the whole out on the plate, but this was certainly unexpected as the directions don't mention anything about having to do this. Any chimes in regarding your experience or advice is highly appreciated.

I probably shouldn’t comment here, as I have no experience with the 5 lug?
But doesn’t the nut go on top of the spring pack? And the “head” on bottom in the alignment hole?

Again, I have more experience with the 6 lugs.
So I may be totally wrong.
The 6 lug are leaf on top of axle.

    Is the 5 lug different?

Spring pack is under axle on 5-lug. The stock setup for leaf centering pin is nut on bottom and the ReadyLift Youtube video shows same setup for add-a-leaf. I think I check to see if it would fit vice-versa, but I'll check again in the morning. I appreciate the response in any case.

    No. Probably.
As you can tell my advice is useless in your case.
As I never messed with a 5 Lug, or leaf under setup on a Tacoma.

FWIW, I did try to find installation directions. No Luck, not even on Ready Lifts site?

Nah, it's all good - worth double checking in the morning.
It came with instructions, though no detail on this specific point. Readylift has a youtube video, and as mentioned, it shows with nut on bottom.
I've had this truck 16 years, so gotta keep loving it, but no doubt 6-lug is the way to go.

Ask in the proper xrunner 5 lug section.
