I've got an old beater 96 5 lug that I am sinking way too much money into. I previously tried to do some mid travel thing (I'll have fabtech lift spindles, qa1 coilover adapters, and UCAs/LCAs for sale if anyone needs lol)

Anyways, got the JD fab kit mostly installed on the front end (still needs an alignment and then the final UCA tabs welded in)

And now I am trying to figure out what to do with the rear. A while back when I tried the aforementioned mid travel setup I bought a dakar rear leaf. It doesn't have very much travel

I just ordered Archives shock relocation hardware, but I need to put a real leaf pack on the rear before I start messing with shocks. It seems a lot of guys have done the Deaver, and I'm wondering if that is still the general consensus

I don't really know what I'm doing, but basically I was looking for some recommendations for a good rear leaf setup that will allow me to use a ~2.5x12 shock without a ridiculous lift. I'm running 32s and a 2-3" lift in the front (just from the JD kit, no added lift) I'm okay with factory rake

I can take pics or get measurements if it helps, otherwise I'm cool with just a blanket recommendation

Here's a pic of the ugly thing

What upper control arms do you have for when you were going to do the Qa1 setup? Why didn't you do it and opted for the JD Fab?

Any reason why you couldn't go 63" leaf pack?

They like to flex, and can be altered a bit as they come from a variety of GM trucks.

Maybe someone else can add a bit more to this for your 5 lug setup.
