5 lug tire specs?

09 5 lug 2wd 5speed 4cyl. sr5

Hey I'm new to the forum just bought an 09 5 lug. does anyone know the specs on factory 5 lug tires? I know they're supposed to be P215/70R15 but my truck has P225/70R15. I went to check the tire pressure so I looked at the decal for the correct pressure (32psi) well when I checked them they were at 40psi so I dropped it down but now they look a little soft. Is pressure for 225 ties the same as 215?

Also it's not a LT(light truck) tire does that mean I Can run car tires as long as they're the right size? Asking because a friend is selling 225/60 R16 98T Observe G-02 plus Toyo winter tires on rims for $500. They're off a dodge avenger.
