    Jegs is blah. Go Summit.

Ordered the C8 Silvers last night from Summit. (2), Ordered late, late evening. Wasn't expecting them until Thursday. Had them shipped to my work. Boss comes to me at like 11:30 this morning, "you got 2 big boxes". Holy shit that was fast.

As stated, they are way super close to fitting and I will grind when time comes. With all lugs finger tight you could tell it was hitting but wasn't getting seized up.

Their a little to "silver" honestly, match the truck really. Think I'm going to hit them with the Gun-Metal plasti-dip I have, Silver will act as a nice primer.

    So now, tires.

Not worried about trying to fit 31s. They'll fit.

32s...Ryan, you're on 32s currently correct? They are 32x11.5? What did you need to do to run them trimming wise?

Then 33s...there is 10.5 and 12.5. I saw the one fella' who's running 10.5s. Is there a big clearance issue with 12.5s?

    (I hate searching)

Naked has/is running 33x12.5, and on Cragar 8s it looked like. Reading his build doesn't seem to say much about getting them to fit other than having to hammer some stuff back.

    I sent him a PM.

would it be a waste of time/money to put a coil bucket like the one for the TC "taquito" kit onto a first gen to be able to use coilovers on otherwise stock suspension?

He ran 33's with the Chaos mid travel, you will be rubbing a lot on 4.5's with 33's. Black box removed and you should be fine with a 32. I ran 265/75/16 duratracs when I was lifted. Only issue was the black box.

Hi, I have a 09 reg 2.7l 5lugs manual tacoma. The OEM tire is 215/70/R15.

I don't have the fee for a lift so I am thinking of getting wider tires to change the look of the truck on my next set of tire. Using the OEM rim that came with the truck, what is the widest tire I can put on it? By doing that, would there be any sort of performance issues?

Don't worry about legal issues for giving advice on this. A tire shop would not put a tire that will not fit as they do not want to be liable.

I just wanted to know if someone here has done something similar using original rim without any lift.

These tacoma looks great and I am very happy with mine as well.

    TIA.

31x10.5 is the biggest you can go without lift.

4.5? Referring to backspacing? The ones I got are 4.0, if it makes a difference.

I have been considering 32s, they seem to be a rarer breed however with less choices.

Yeah, getting the mythical 32 on a 15" rim is tough. That .5" probably aint gonna make that big of a difference. My duratracs ran at 31.88 roughly a 32. Heavy tire but they were great on the road and in the snow.

And my random thought for the day...I've not really looked at any pics to see, just a random passing thought.

Whats is stopping a 5 lugger from taking an elocker rear end from a 6 lug truck, swapping the 5 lug axle shafts in and having perches fabbed up on the bottom of the housing to fit the SUA application of a 5 lug.....

    Are both 30 spline?

    Brakes...

Nothing, here's to verify spline count. Still 30. toyota difs However if you are gonna go through the hassel of swapping over complete axles you might as well sell the 5lug and buy a 6lug.

I'd say it was more of a passing thought than an actual idea I'd go through with. Know a fella' who somehow managed to pick up an elocked rear end for less than $300. I would it be totally worth fucking with if I could find one for that price.

Yeah, got a buddy who found one for 400 over here. I picked my LSD up for 60 plus the bearings.

If I got 31x10.5 tires on a 5 lug with the readily lift kit would the tires rub or would I be fine?

    Any help? Thanks - Will

My acutal drop, 5.25/5.75, numbers based off a base single cab with 1" spacers and XIIPERF XR stock heights with billies up front and 6lug leafs in the rear.
