you want the long. they ride better than the short and is less harsh on your spring pack

biggest issue is the bumper. your truck will hate you if you put 33s just a heads up

Why do you say that and more than likely ill have an aftermarket bumper so they won't rub against that

how much clearance do you have with 33s on that setup? I'm wondering if i could get away with maybe 7-8 inches total

Jumping to that big of tires your truck is going to feel like a slug trying to turn them. You have to regear if you want it to be even somewhat drivable.

On my 98 5 lug even 31s were pretty bad, not unbearable with the manual trans but it was slow for sure

Alright, I was planning on going to 4.11 gears. Sluggish doesn't bother me I expected it to happen its a 4 cylinder but I just want to make sure I cover every angle and don't run the risk of busting any suspension components because of making a stupid mistake

could I use a Coil spring from the v6 model combined with a 3" lift spindle in the front or would that be asking for trouble with ball joints

It would probably ride badly dunno about the ball joints. I had a spindle lift on mine and I couldn't have been happier with that. It makes the stance wider which looks good imo but I destroyed one of my already cut fenders with a tire off roading. So I put glass up front, you could probably fit 33's with spindles, heavier springs, glass, bumper and a BFH

Probably a good idea unless youll use it

Problem is spindle lift can only give me 3.5" max and that won't get me anywhere near 33s thats why i was wondering about the springs. I know how I'm going to do the rear the front is just the issue, i figure as long as i get enough clearance i won't have to worry about the fenders
