They put a container with a number on it to identify the trucks, they just throw it on the roof. I suspect either someone dragged it across the roof and there was debris or something under it.

Or, it was the one time I forgot to ask them to not wash the truck. But I couldn't find scratches elsewhere.

It wasn't only an oil change, they were replacing the differential and repeatedly driving it. I'm not sure of all it went through.

Took my truck in at 7am just got a call back at 3:20pm. They want to keep the truck until morning. Manager said it was a quart low on trans fluid said he wants to check the fluid tomorrow morning again. They also did the ECU flash which im assuming is the TSB.

It's a plastic "cone" shaped thing (more of a trapezoid) with some magnets on the bottom (within the plastic). They put it on the hood or roof so they can identify the vehicles in their back storage lot. The long scratches occurred right where I watched them put it.

I brought it up to the dealer, they said those don't scratch the cars. I asked them not to put it on the truck again just to be safe, found it on the truck later that day. Oh well.

Seriously, I'd be bringing it up with them that they need to make the truck right, and if they refuse I'd go the route of small claims court for the cost of proper paint correction. I'm not sue happy but that is pure bull.
