5 or 6 lug drum brakes

    Are the drum brakes and components the same for 5 and 6 lug versions?
    Brake shoe sizes hardware kit etc?
    Have to order new parts for for my 5 lug but parts are not described in this detail.

    265/75/16 Wildpeaks, Dakar rear, HS 2.5" front coils
    Well the drum itself is different.:D Most of the sites denote whether 5 or 6for that.

    Doing a quick look of the sites that typically note the different vehicle variations in their parts(Napa and Rock Auto), I am not seeing much of a difference in spring kits.

    You can try searching a few sites that aggregate part numbers and then just cross reference to whatever store you are buying from. https://parts.toyota.com/Toyota__Tacoma.html

    For example Bosch BS871.
    I can't cross reference it and bosch online catalog doesn't mention lug version.

    Just buy a kit that is listed for your truck.Not worth it too get the wrong parts
