5 speed shift knob

    I need some help and was wondering if anyone could help, when I bought my tacoma it came with one of the bullet shift knobs from autozone and it is stripped out. I have seen the leather Trd one on eBay and thought about it but I need to know if it just slips on or do you have to have something to screw it on?

    There should be female threads on the knob itself the screw on the to shift lever's male treads
