I previously had spidertrax 1.25" spacers on 4runner TRD ORD 17in wheels with 255/80/17 but they were rubbing with a calculated offset of -16.75. So I am looking for a suggestions for low negative offset wheels -5 to -10.

Why not just run the wheels without the spacers? Those wheels are ideal for that tire size. Not too wide but the tires will sit just about flush.

20230709_075600.jpg 20230608_135745.jpg I run the stock 16's (+25) with the same spacer bringing it to -7mm.
    No rubbing with 265/75/16.

Ok fair enough heres my truck with 0 offset and I think the poke is ideal. But different strokes for different folks.

Yep, Anything beyond -10mm is too much for my taste.
I like the looks just not realistic for my driving.

Your current wheels only push the tire in 0.157" so they are basically identical. Two things that could effect this. I do not know if 2nd/3rd gen have similar coverage for the flares. Maybe 3rd gen covers further out.

In the front the wheel mounting surface moves in as you lift. I am on stock 2015 trd pro suspension.

Offset is important but so is wheel width. You can't compare wheels based purely on offset, you need to look at offset AND width to get the full picture. For example, you could have two +0 offset wheels but if one is 7" and the other is 9" wide then you'll have drastically different fitment. The 9" wheel would sit 1" further out even though the offset is the same. (*Note, this is purely based on wheel and not factoring in the tire.)

You currently have 7.5" +15 wheels. Almost every 17" aftermarket wheel out there will be 8.5-9" wide (which sucks because for the tires you are running a 7-7.5" wheel is probably the ideal width).

There are TONS of -5 to -10 offset wheels out there, just pick your poison. Although, if it were me I'd be looking to go with the highest offset, narrowest wheel I could find in a 17". But it's slim pickins. I think I've managed to find only TWO 17" wheels that are 8" and nothing skinnier than that, everything else is 8.5-9". And I don't think I've seen anything with more offset than zero, often they're -10 or -12. Personally, I think 17x7 or 17x7.5 with somewhere in the +0 to +10 offset would be the PERFECT spec. You'd be able to run skinnies without stretching them and you'd retain a lot of travel without rubbing.
