I don't care for the XD line-up, the longer nose and bed make it too big for my needs. I also don't care for the diesel ... but hats off to Nissan for investing in so many different trims for people to have options. Unfortunately, if they don't start selling and competing, not sure how long Titans will be around.

The 1st gen are still around and after the first few years of working out the kinks, it was pretty good truck.

The 2nd gen should be even better .. starting to like the new lines.

I got invited to a Nissan Titan event months ago. Got to drive it, street and off road course. And the engineers show you the difference in parts, and the competitor's trucks.

I was impress with everything about it. It did have that quality feel. Power and brakes were totally awesome. It drove smaller than it looks.

Bad? Price. Then again, Nissan is offering $11K off now. IMO, worth it, and that warranty would make me take that chance on a new model. I can live with the "ugly" look as I consider that different, and not another Ford, Chevy, or Ram.

However, I'm NOT in the market for a full-size truck, and would not consider it. I do think it packs better overall value than domestics and Toyota.

Brother in law and sister just bought one. Brand new 2017, 4WD SL for $33k OTD, sticker was $42k I think he said, has everything a loaded tacoma has minus leather. They look a lot better in person than in pictures.

That's a killer deal on a SL ... at this point I think they just want to get more on the road till they start picking up sales once people realize quality on these things vs the competition.
