So my truck is getting pretty close to the 50,000 mile mark and I was wondering what you guys recommend replacing/servicing at this mileage. I realize I should follow the service schedule listed in the manual, and I am, but there are some things I want to change prematurely. Here's what I intend on replacing (both in the manual and not), if you think there's anything I am missing feel free to add.

    - Oil and Oil Filter change

    - Spark plugs (I have the four cylinder, Toyota recommends they get replaced every 100K, I only feel comfortable with about half that)

    - PCV (Not that I need it, but it's better to replace before it breaks rather than after, right?)

    - Serpentine belt (Again manual calls for a later mileage, but want to replace early. As a side note, anyone use Bando belts before?)

    - Power steering fluid flush

    - Air filter

    - Cabin air filter

    - Possibly replace differential fluid (replaced at 35,000)

    - Possibly replace pads and machine rotors

    Anything else?

I'm not going to check the owners manual but here is what I do
Oil and Oil Filter change every 5k with syn
Spark plugs probably not necessary at 50K but might be hard to get out at 100 - use a little never seize
differential fluid t case etc every 30k
Air filter Cabin air filter - wash them at oil change - mine are washable
replace pads and rotors - mine around 60K - just check them - when pad any pad is the same width as the backing plate replace. Rotors usually can't be turned these days since they make them with no meat on them
the rest I haven't done yet.
