Hey all, i just finished installing my 32" lower grille light bar and 52" light bar on roof. I noticed that the 52" light bar flickers and some portions seem to be brighter than others. This is with the truck in the off position.
When the truck is on the flicker goes away but portions still seem to be dim! Any help or ideas are apreciated. Both installed with relays, fuses, power to the battery direct and ground is running to the bolt directly beside battery with the ground wire on it from the battery.

if its doing it with truck off might not be getting enough power.
I wouldn't recommend running a light bar like that off of your starting battery with the truck off.

What brand are the bars? Have you tried bypassing the switch and relay and trying to just power the bar with the contacts directly on the battery?

These bars are from the recent flash sale on tacomaworld. Freedom led bars.
Once the truck is started shouldnt it have enough power to operate a couple light bars/and pods?

Thx. I will try bypassing the switch.

    Stock and loving it
you bought a cheap light bar, that's what you get. Your wires may be too small to supply the needed current to power the whole bar at full draw.
Also, most chinese light bars are rated from 10 to 30 volts, which means full output is at 30 volts

The truck has plenty of power for 2 light bars and a set of PODs...

This is the point of new LED tech. Low draw with great output!
