not talking about license restrictions... just about overloading the truck with more dead weight than it can safely carry.

If I had a finger brake, I'd do it in metal. This would be a lot of small bends. Yeah the top is for the stove, middle for plates and cups and bowls and the bottom will hold the gas, coffee pot and other cooking stuff. I just don't have the gear to work with wood. I have to cut with is a 25 year old crapsman circular saw. LOL
Thank you tho. I appreciate it.

My take on the whole deal is he left the Cleetus operation to improve on his insecurity issues. He was getting eaten alive in the comments on cleetus's videos. He was just trying too hard to fit in. I think this was a horrible decision. He and the girl friend don't have a clue what they're doing and someone is going to get hurt. If you watch the before and after of his girl, she's scared shitless. I don't think they are going to last too long.

as long as it does what it needs to do.... that's the most important part of camping gear.
you should post in the what have you made today thread. as another member pointed out, you are the only one who will notice any of the "mistakes" made.

sadly, not yet...that will be the last piece of the puzzle...the Taco was the first piece

but we have narrowed it down to the Timberleaf Pika:

    https://timberleaftrailers.com/pika-small-camping-trailer/

    or the TAG XL

    https://nucamprv.com/tag-trailer/

I also plan on getting a soft top for when I go without my wife...she likes the outdoors, but "will not poop in the woods", so with her it will gladly be teardrop camping at State parks and small family campgrounds with running water.

by myself, or with my friends we will tent camp 99% of the time, or at least use a softtopper and sleep in the bed...

I hope to be pulling into places like in your pic with the TD or the tent in retirement!!!!

I knew I wanted to upgrade from a tent to a camper a long time ago. I went through every option. Tear drops and other small campers were of most interest to me when I was set on keeping my 4Runner. But in the end towing anything just didn't appeal to me - would have been too limiting for me and the places I go. So I started looking into truck campers and getting rid of my Runner. I still miss Runny but I love the camper.

And not to confuse your search any but a couple of campers that were high on my list (and maybe easier for you to get based on location) were the Carson Kalispell and Three Feathers Backpackers. Nicely appointed smaller campers...both Taco towable too!
    http://www.3feathersmfg.com/#/backpacker-2xt/
    https://www.carsontrailer.com/trailers/rv-sport/travel-trailer/ka/

and where my pic was taken...I've never seen a trailer of any sorts up there and questioned my sanity many times driving the truck camper there last summer. I will go back but its a once a year trip for me...
