I tried to be a piss poor mood today... Epic fail at 4 o'clock!

 

Hey no $5 words on a Thursday I have no idea what parenthetical means. I'll get to do a trip like that someday but Saturday is opening day of riffle season for deer so I'm predisposed. Considering the company you'll be in I'd probably get in trouble anyway. When you get a chance check out lots2learns cans sliders and tell me what you think

When I bought my truck the first thing i did was read the date code on my old tires and finding out they were 9 yrs old . the funny thing was looking at the tread it was 50% worn but didn't show any signs of age

 

I'm pretty sure he's happy with them, and will be showing them off!

i hope so i always get nervous working on other peoples stuff. i take alot of pride in my work but most concerned with the people being happy

 

Nope within a week or so after getting my truck I bought new tires . then 3 months Iater I bought another set of tires because I wasn't happy what I previously bought

 

Having seen the pics, I was thinking hmmm.... Maybe Chris would... But then I think dam, the wife's gonna kill me, if I keep spending money on this truck.

 

maybe chris would what? i'll help you with what i can most stuff goes through justin as we use his garage, welder, and work as a team. charges are minimal comparitively but he does have to recover costs for material and a little for time. really, it just depends on what you want done. i'm not saying we charge for everything but some things cost us to do. some things can also be done at my house.

 

Let's just say I liked the sliders, but I don't think I could convince the Chief Financial Officer (wife) to get 'em done.

 

Since I know the history of this truck I took a calculated guess on how old the tires were. Then when my son and I went to pick it up we confirmed it. With my short commute I was hoping to get them to last till after Christmas, but with all the rough asphalt and here outside the city limits, it's proving to be just a little too much for these brittle old skins. The tread is still 40% but just too hard.

 

just save up a little at a time. i've been told multiple times if your going to want any armor sliders come first. i would do weld ons not bolt ons i've heard too many horror stories about the flex you get out of the boltons and they wear down and weaken your frame. step on his sliders and see how much flex you get out of them. i weigh like 235 and they barely flexed at all

 

There's no weather checking at all in the sidewalls. It was parked under a shade all the time.
