Did FedEx show up with your new camera?

 

I didn't see them when I was shopping earlier tonight but I found these interesting.

 

Yes, and as you can tell by what time it is, I'm just now headed to bed. What a day. Charged the camera battery (285 minutes) welded the shovel brackets to the roof rack on the topper and painted it....took a 153 mile drive and took some pictures. Found a 55 acre lake too I had no idea existed 20 miles from me....LOL. Yep, it was a day.

I'm in a town of 2,635 folks that sleep in on Sunday, and barely make it to church on time. Unless the sender, B&H Camera out of NY sends it super duper high priority with level 16 processing and a private jet, it gets here on Monday.....however, up rolls Johnny in a special van that they never use, with kitchen and bath and 1,000 watt stereo, 2 whip antennas and proceeds to run up the yard to give me the camera. I was amazed. I worked at the Pentagon, and could get FedEx in 17 minutes to the White House. I wasn't amused with Johnny but he had a cool truck. LOL.

We get the same gusty winds up here in the High Desert and everything gets sand blasted . I'll wait until I move to Tennessee before I replace the windshield in my Tacoma that's become pitted by the blowing sand

Around here, the forecasted high for Wednesday is 41 degrees, with a low of 28 for Thursday morning and a high of 48 for Thursday. As I told my grandson as he shivered waiting for his school bus this morning, the average date for the last frost in WPA is late April, with the record being around Memorial Day.
