    Good evening everybody.

    It’s been a little busy since about lunchtime on Sunday for me. We got a tip on a 2 month old missing persons case from the Sheriff of a small county about 100 miles away from us. It had some very specific details about our missing person and 2 names of people that were supposed to be witnessses. My Sergeant and a detective went out and made contact with the witnesses. One confirmed what was in the tip, the other at first wanted to play dumb but eventually came off of it and gave a statement. This lead to a search warrant for the suspects house.

    First thing we did was have cadaver dogs work the area. Two dogs alerted right where the tip said the missing person was buried. We detained the suspect and started our search. Monday we dug and found our missing persons. Additional evidence was found inside the suspect’s house. He’s been arrested for her murder. Family has been notified, sad for them but at least they now have closure. We’re wrapping up the paperwork and will close this one out tomorrow.

    It was great watching my detectives work this one through. I’m really proud of them.

    in other news camper is fully back in business - got all the pink gunk cleared out of the lines and we are ready! no leaks. Gonna run more water through tomorrow and then dump the tanks.

    and I took Toy to the gas station for the first time in 3 months. 325 miles since feb 12th :laugh:
