The Friday after 5 traffic has arrived. Just got new camp neighbors. Lady showed up in a small SUV pulling a Jayco pop up tent trailer. 3 kids, 2 dogs. Dad showed up a few minutes later in a Rav4 or something like two more kids. Opens the hatchback and pulls out this massive generator that could power half of Los Angeles has its own built in trolley.
What in the hell could they possibly need that shit for?

Just got back from the VA after a long day there

Got there at 1230hrs and went to radiology for a series of x- rays of my l/ knee and do to tremors in that leg it was an interesting experience trying to keep still . These x-rays were needed by Ortho so they could order a MRI for possible surgical consult

After that was over I walked back outside to my truck and enjoy the near 100 deg temps until my Neurology appt at 1500hrs . My Neurology appt went very well and my doctor was happy that the meds I'm on is slowing down the progression of Parkinson's disease so he increased the dosage of my meds

.He also had ordered a surgical consult with Ortho as he believes I've got Carpal tunnel syndrome in.my l/ hand so back to Radiology for more x-rays . Also once again trying to keep my hand from tremoring

Finally got back to my truck and then spent the next 1.5 hrs on the Cajon pass with everyone else either headed to Las Vegas or heading home to the High Desert

I'm well. Should be napping, but we'll see...decent weather has me awake.

You should start camper shopping, me thinks you need some distraction from work.

Well...i don't think I've ever broken up camp as quickly as I just did...
More folks pulled in to join the giant generator folks. POS Minnie Winnie and another giant generator. Then some dude shows up in a beater truck loaded to the brim with firewood. They started setting up a massive tent about 10' from me!
They fired up the generators and have to yell at one another to talk above the din. There's ove4 20 of them together
I walked camp, surveyed what was left open. Took a chance on another site. I'm only about 100 yards from where I was but hopefully it will be enough.
And close your ears @Cwopinger ....had about 3 white claws so far today, had to put the open one in the cup holder to drive down here
