    I’m heading the opposite direction...Dallas Oregon. West of Salem on the way to the coast. Steens Mountain Area and the Alvord Desert are truly spectacular. We use to drop down for a visit on our way from Bend to Twin Falls Idaho. It is well worth the trip.
