Love where I work and watched them save my son about 6 times last year with the cancer and complications. But for back pain\issues they are very conservative and are in the camp that it will heal itself in time. And they avoid opiates and muscle relaxers. Have 2 more weeks at this dose which is max and if no relief will finally get MRI and cortisone shot. Ironically had cortisone shot in my left foot 6 weeks ago to help with the bone on bone grinding in my ankle so I could go hunting and it is wearing off now. But if my back is still hurting in 2 weeks look forward to getting one in my spine. If it will help! In the meantime suck it up and bear it I guess. But getting old after a couple months.

 

i'd get a year or so of relief out of the deep injections until they figured out how bad it was jacking up my sugar and told me no more

 

My pain management nerve block injections i only got maybe a couple weeks worth of relief

Morning all. Slept pretty good last night.
Few errands to do this morning.
Get some screws and piping at the hardware store
Going to wire up the fan in the gen box
Install the other outside outlet
should be in the mid 50's. Then cold front coming in tomorrow night.
So the last chance to finish up the little things for the year.
Time for coffee and lucky charms...

G'morning all. Just pulled a load of apples and a tray of jerkey out of the dehydrator, coffee is brewing. It is cooling off. I dug my new work vest out for the cooler mornings. I'll do my best to get the most production out of the day.

This was me the past week.
but wasn't doing it on purpose.

 

Good morning and hope your Saturday is a good one! Winds up to 50mph last night a few trees went down. Light dusting of snow got lucky they got 8"+ to the North. In the 20's this morning and high is only 32 today now. It is heading East now heads up.

Good luck! I understand the hobbling but didn't bother me as much as sitting, I could hobble 7-8 miles on the plains pushing through chest high grass and cattails chasing those colorful Red invaders. The first snow of the year they get kind of stupid and are easy to see at the base of trees or at worst sitting in the thick cattails, can't see them there but know where to find them. Love hunting them the first snow.

Have phun and be safe! I've hunted deer in the GWNF but been a very long time. They were just starting to close down some of the trails back then because of ATV's and shared use, etc. Hope they opened them back up especially on top of some of those ridges!
