    Chilly night. Snowed a bit.
Set the thermostat at 60 to keep the camper and all its plumbing warm. Heater wakes me up when it turns on sometimes but I get right back to sleep. Woke up at 5 wondering if it was due to come on. Waited. Nothing. Got up, checked the therm. It read 56. Heater shoulda kicked on at 59. Put on my shoes and coat, checked LP. One tank dry. Switched to the other. Came in, heater isn't on. Turned the therm up. Nothing. Got on the floor and pulled the fuse. It's fine. Plugged it back in. Heater fires up. Crawled back in bed and went to sleep for another 3 hours.

Camper was looking out for her and was telling her that she should have a warm FS guy there to take up the slack.

I'm just amazed at how aware I was even in a dead sleep that my heater was due to be on.

And just like that, I get to join the bad tickers club. Gotta internal leak - small hole. Some of the transmission fluid isn't making it out of the pump housing. Heart is working harder and the BP goes up to stooopid high. Medication to control the heart rate and an aspirin to prevent a clot. Leaving the hole for now.

Of course, on the plus side, if it were to rupture wide open, the lights would go immediately out and not a long period of pain. "Why is the light in a shape of a bug zapper??"

Yeah, if it worsens, they can run a mesh up through a cath and play the dutch boy plug game. The BP has to get under control before anything else - it's all over the map so taking a straight BP med would only make me pass out. Controlling the ticker's rate should deal better when it fluctuates. 128/72 to 210/100...

That's easily fixable once the BP is stable (edit - I see they told you that too). I recommend you get it fixed. My grandfather had an aortal hernia at 84, they went in arthroscopically and wrapped it like it was a radiator hose (steel screen and duct tape) and it held together fantastically.

    :fingerscrossed:

Is the BP adjustable with increased fluid levels?

Thanks for all of the support. I appreciate it. We’ll see how I feel with the medication and take it from there. If surgical intervention is ever needed, I can practically spit to Yale New Haven. They have a great cardiac center.
