Good morning all. Another cold rainy day on tap. Never hit 50 yesterday and had average 20mph sustained wind. Burrrrrr. Gas fireplace is on.

    Good Morning Folks :hattip:

Another cold one last night. The wife covered her plants again. Lots to be a great day. Last night we had venison burgers made on the Blackstone griddle outside, cooked carrots from last years garden. For dessert, a rhubarb crunch from freshly cut rhubarb.:hungry:

    Have a great day everyone.

Reminds me of our trip to Florida. Have fun and enjoy:thumbsup:

    You the lucky man.

It was about 45 degrees and overcast when I woke up a little before 6 a.m. I took the dog for a walk and the roads were still damp in the shaded areas from 2 days of rain, which totaled about 1 /1/2 inches. She did not do her business so we will try again this afternoon. The forecasted high today is about 57 degrees. I hope everybody has an enjoyable day.

Sorry I need to vent or I'm gonna go off and say something that I'm going to regret.

My in-laws (my wife's sister and brother in-law) have been essentially holding her mom hostage since covid started.
Her mom lives with them and since lock-down started in Feb 2020 they made it very clear that there wouldn't be any visits on either side until there was a vaccine.
Now they're anti vaccine but here's where the BS starts. My mother in-law needed sinus surgery so she was required to get vaccinated before the surgery.
So now that Grandma is vaccinated and the Nazi's that she lives with aren't vaccinated they still won't allow her to go anywhere. BTW, their three kids are back in school and playing soccer
and Grandma can do whatever they need her to do regarding caring for their kids but she's forbidden to see us or our 3 year old son and she's our sons only grandparent.
If I haven't painted a nice enough picture of these assholes - about six months ago they bought a house and since I'm a flooring contractor they asked me to take a look at their wood floors
to see if they could be refinished - which I didn't do for obvious reasons.

@US Marine My home town is Trimble Ohio population 392. Trimble Brick was provided to Indianapolis Speedway when it was built and is still under all the asphalt. There were other providers but of course, without evidence, ours was used the most...ahahahahaha.
Be safe out there and don't eat too much. I'm still in a meat coma, and having hourly meat sweats.

    @Tacman19

Grandma doesn't have any money, she's on SS so she probably buy's her own food and pays a few personal bills.
But she doesn't pay them any rent so that's why they feel like they can call the shots (no pun intended).

My mother lives with my brother and while I am able to freely visit her there, it is obvious that my brother has more influence over her because he is providing the roof over her head. I guess that's only natural and right.
