and yeah, about 5 years ago, my parents got me and my sister over to the old house as they were planning on moving to a smaller place, gave us post it notes, and said to go around and put them on stuff we wanted. Stuff we didn't want was going to Goodwill/auctions/donations etc. Mom and dad are not well off, so there is not really any money to fight about - and we are not hard wired to think that way anyways - so that is making things easier. Parents are still alive and kicking, now with much less stuff, so they are happy

And here is to the memory of anyone who lost a loved one to military service as well. Dad is Marine Corps Vietnam Vet, and did 30 years of reserves afterwards too. He survived physically, and mentally as well...I think we are very lucky!! We spent yesterday evening as we always do: looking through his Marine Corps yearbook thing from when he was in basic training, grilling out, and "yelling at kids to get off of his lawn"...

 

Why does this remind me of "Wayne Carini Chasing Classic Cars"? You know "Roger" is still alive...LOL.

And the big announcement was he and James bought 20% of Motion Raceworks....Holy big money.

Cleetus is a very smart businessman and he and James will be making alot of $$$$

There's another video of him making run #2 and at the 1k ft you can hear the engine hit the limiter hard at the 1k ft cone . There's a comment on that video stating he grenaded the Gear Vendors unit

They've got a spare and hopefully that's the only damage

F-I-L is visiting this week. He likes to check the local pawn shops when he’s in the area. Of course he wasn’t able to make the rounds last year, so we are going out today. Ought to be an interesting day.
